Excellent, friendly staff (I speak French, staff seems to have no problem with English either). room is not luxurious and more than modest, cozy. It has its own shower and toilet, a hair dryer. It's cleaned every day. location is excellent, 7 minutes to the metro station La Fourche. There are delicious bakeries, grocery stores on the way. We did not take breakfast, because we bought food there. There's McDonald's nearby, Starbucks. neighborhood is quiet. I think it's a great option to just come over for the night, like we did. It's not suitable for adults, unpretentious travelers and families with children.
The shower mirror and shower mount were kept not well, the tiles in the shower were broken. The walls are very thin, if you get noisy neighbors, you can't get enough sleep. But they're just not very nice little things.

bed was comfortable, it was clean, room and bathroom were quite spacious although the bathroom had no curtain in the bathtub and in the room there was a lamp without a lampshade. It had an elevator although it was very small and complicated to get in and out because the door when it opened was practically against the wall of the corridor. staff was very kind, they gave us a map when we arrived and indicated where we were and where the subway was. Some days there is a receptionist who speaks Spanish. Wifi works well and is free. It is far from the center of Paris but the subway (metro) is close by and neighborhood (especially if you walk a few blocks to batignolles) is nice. It is near Montmartre, you can walk there (about 20 blocks).
You can't ask for much more than a place to go back to sleep every night. They charge for breakfast separately and expensively, so we don't eat breakfast there. The feeling is that with a little more love put into the details it would be much better with little effort.

Oh man, the homemade desserts at nearby La Felicite left me weak in the knees! Plus, the cleaning staff was great, keeping our room spick and span daily.
Only bummer was the pipes making unexpected noises in the toilet when someone else used water. It had a quirky charm though, and didn't really spoil the vibe.

Hotel has an elevator! Since the hotel has very steep stairs, that's an obvious plus. Friendly personnel. One of the staff at the reception even spoke Russian - it was very unexpected and pleasant. They chose a hotel in a "decent" area and near the subway. Generally, everything fits the description: the area is not bad, metro (relatively) near. Shops and eateries are also within walking distance.
We had two rooms, layout of one was unusual: the toilet was in a storage room type, separate from the shower (at the other end of the room). I can't say it was a big "minus, " but it was uncomfortable somehow. rooms were small, shabby, all seeing the view. Everything from the elevator and corridors to the bathrooms was narrow and tiny. as I understood it, it's not a feature of this hotel - it's a "business card" of hotels in Paris. There's no air conditioning in the rooms. Given the fact that the summer of 2018 in Paris is very hot, lack of air conditioning is felt very strongly. Fans were asked at the reception - we were readily given (free! It saved the situation a little, only for a little bit. Therefore, if I need a hotel in Paris, I will look mainly at chain hotels - at least there is air conditioning there.

i really enjoyed exploring the nearby montmartre, just 1.5 km away, and the fine tuileries garden, only about 3 km from the hotel, perfect for leisurely strolls after a day of sightseeing.

Near to the centre, good connection. Good Value for money.
Should be little bit quiet - Some guests were too noisy in the night, but no one from the staff make them calm down. Bed is little bit short, but quite ok.

Nice location. Really great staff, they even had a power adapter to allow us to charge a phone!
Bathroom and room in major need of some renovations. Sink a bit blocked up, but to be honest we didn't care too much!

The location was conveniently close to two metro stations.
I was disappointed by the lack of amenities in the room. There was no mini fridge or kettle, which would have added comfort to our experience after long day of sightseeing. I found the USB charging port malfunctioning, and had to request an adapter for my phone. Lastly, we noticed that cleaning was not thorough. Though the bed was made daily, the floor was never vacuumed.

The bed was very comfy! Room is clean and cozy. Bathrooms clean. Front desk staff are all very friendly and helpful. Location is very good because it's close to metro and in a nice residential area of Paris, away from heavy tourist traffic.
One of the breakfast staff was rude, visibly upset/irritated while on shift and many of the guests shared the feeling that they were afraid to ask her for things such as making another batch of coffee. This is not a good person to have on staff around guests if you want them to feel welcome and comfortable.
